| Ilsong Garden is the newest creation of Chef Young, the noted Korean chef who
created the Go Hyang Jib Korean Barbeque House (since sold to new owners.
A restauranteur in San Antonio since 2000, Chef Young's creations have
received consistently
high ratings including
selection by Zagat Survey as one of the top three restaurants in San
Antonio for 2006 and listed as the only Korean restaurant for Zagat's
Top Restaurants in the U.S. for 2007; the "Best Asian Restaurant -
Critics Choice Award" for 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and people's choice
along with critic's choice for 2006 by the San Antonio Express News; and
a top pick in the Texas Monthly.
Desiring to expand the breadth of her cuisines and
use her talents to create dishes for the discerning palate, "Master Chef" Young
(as she is becoming known by her appreciative patrons) has
blended the best of Go Hyang Jib with new Asian Fusion, Korean,
Japanese, and Sushi specialties to make the Ilsong Garden menu a
bountiful set of enticing offerings.
A special menu of gourmet fusion dishes give Ilsong Garden a unique place
in San Antonio dining; each dish is an original creation by Chef Young
and preparation receives her close, personal attention.
